APPLICATIO and SDG 13: Climate
Climate change is a global challenge and does not stop at national borders, and its impacts are not limited to individual sectors, economic activities or population groups. Climate protection projects therefore have to take into account numerous interactions.
APPLICATIO supports climate protection projects worldwide. The focus is on the promotion of adapted agriculture and forestry as well as wildlife management and biodiversity, but also on cross-cutting issues.
Evaluation Biomass Namibia

APPLICATIO was commissioned by SEQUA gGmbH with the planning and implementation of a project progress review (evaluation) of a chamber and association partnership (KVP) between the Bundesverband Bioenergie e.V. (BBE) and the Namibia Biomass Industry Group (N-BiG). In May, the evaluation and planning of a possible follow-up phase will be carried out on site in Namibia.
e-Learning Development "Nile Basin Initiative"

APPLICATIO has been commissioned by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to develop an e-Learning course on "Climate Proofing" for and with the Nile Basin Initiative (NBI). APPLICATIO will prepare the already partly existing course in terms of content, methodology and didactics for the e-Learning Platform of GIZ and publish it there.
Organisational Development CPDAE

APPLICATIO was commissioned by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to support the CPDAE network ("Direct Access Entities through the Community of Practice for Direct Access Entities") in its organisational development. Together with the network, a "Charter of Governance" is to be developed and "Committee Guidelines" will be drafted and agreed upon as well as a strategic development framework and an action plan.
Toolkit Training "Climate Mobility"

APPLICATIO was commissioned by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to create a toolkit with methods to implement a blended learning course (based on an existing e-learning course) on the topic of "Climate-induced Human Mobility". The toolkit is intended to provide a toolbox of methods, ideas, tasks, etc. that will enable colleagues and advisors in the field to design, plan and implement a programme - accompanying the existing e-learning course - suitable for the regional and partnership context with less effort (Graphics: (c) GIZ).
Virtual Planning Workshop Uganda

APPLICATIO was commissioned by Fachverband Biogas e.V. to conduct a virtual planning workshop for a chamber and association partnership project (financed by BMZ via sequa). As a hybrid event with all partners of the project, the planning workshop will result in both a detailed annual plan and a three-year plan.
Project Evaluations GIZ

APPLICATIO has been selected by the "Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH" as a member for different pools for central project evaluations and will support central, external evaluations of GIZ projects for 24 months.
