"Equal rights, equal duties, equal opportunities and equal power for women and men" is a principle of development policy and APPLICATIO. Gender equality is an elementary factor for sustainable development worldwide.
APPLICATIO supports gender equality in many ways and is involved in numerous projects worldwide directly on the topic or in projects in which the topic is a cross-cutting issue.
Capacity Development African Union

APPLICATIO has been contracted (in cooperation and under leadership of commons sense, Austria) by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to support the African Union through capacity building for results-oriented, multi-year and gender-sensitive planning, budgeting, monitoring, evaluation and reporting. This includes the identification of learning needs, preparation of training plans and implementation of trainings.
Big Picture: HRD Ethiopia

APPLICATIO has been commissioned by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) to support GIZ internal human resource development in Ethiopia. Within the framework of the "Big Pricture Development Cooperation" initiative APPLICATIO will plan and execute training courses for GIZ employees in the field of development cooperation over three years.
Training Design "Gender-Based Violence" in Zambia

APPLICATIO was commissioned by the GIZ Programme "Partnerships for Prevention of Violence Against Women and Girls in Southern Africa (PfP)", Zambia component to plan and develop a “flagship project” with the police in the Southern Province. APPLICATIO was commissioned to analyse training needs and design training programmes (most probably using blended learning approaches) in order to support the police force in Zambia in the fight against gender-based violence.
Women in Business

Being contracted by EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) APPLICATIO - in cooperation with CEFE Serbia - supports the programme "Women in Business" of EBRD that aims to support businesses that are led by women. The programme includes the countries of the Western Balkans as well as Turkey, Egypt and soon other Countries of the Eastern Partnership. APPLICATIO mainly supports training measures within the programme in the frame of a two-year framework contract.
