Supporting Bridges of Trust

Bot.pngAPPLICATIO was commissioned by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) to support "Bridges of Trust" in the areas of monitoring, process optimisation and cooperation between partners. "Bridges of Trust" is an initiative of the multi-donor action of the EU and its member states Germany, Poland, Denmark and Slovenia to support Ukraine on its way to strengthening local self-government (U-Lead).

 

 

U-LEAD with Europe: is a multi-donor action of the EU and its member states Germany, Poland, Denmark and Slovenia to support Ukraine on its path towards strengthening local self-governance since 2016.

U-LEAD promotes transparent, accountable, resilient and responsive multi-level governance in Ukraine and strengthens municipalities. The overall objective of U-LEAD describes the intended impact as a contribution to the further promotion of multi-level governance in Ukraine. This overall objective will be achieved through the specific objective as a result of the following activities:

  • Strengthening the capacities of key actors at national, regional and local levels,
  • further implementing decentralisation and related regional policies,
  • contributing to defining the functions of each level of government in specific policy areas to support a nationwide reconstruction process.

APPLICATIO will advise the initiative mainly in the area of optimising monitoring processes and partnership management.
