Project Evaluations GIZ
APPLICATIO has been selected by the "Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH" as a member for different pools for central project evaluations and will support central, external evaluations of GIZ projects for 24 months. APPLICATIO and SDG 15: Life on Land
"Living on Land" aims at a positive development of the overall economy in line with the protection and sustainable use of soils, land areas and forests, flora and fauna.
Framework Contract Evaluation for GIZ
APPLICATIO was included in GIZ's pool of evaluators under two framework contracts. Thorsten Trede will thus become a member of the pools for evaluations in the areas of "Private Sector Development" as well as "Biodiversity".
Wildlife-Management Namibia
The Consortium PEM / APPLICATIO / NNF / MPW, made-up by APPLICATIO Training & Management GmbH and PEM GmbH (Lead), the Namibia Nature Foundation (NNF) and MPW Associates (MPW), has been contracted by the University of Namibia (UNAM) with financial support by Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) with financial means of the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) to develop new study programmes on wildlife-management for the extended campus of UNAM in Katima Mulilo. As an additional option, the Consortium will also support the construction of the campus-extension.
Training-of-Trainers Forest Sector Vietnam
APPLICATIO has been contracted by Deutsche Forst Service GmbH (DFS) und Hessenforst with planning and implementing a comprehensive training-of-trainers programme in the frame of the programme "Promotion of sustainable management of production forests by forest companies in Vietnam". The programme is financed by the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL). In the frame of the programme APPLICATIO will be training ap. 15 trainers and experts in training methodology and didactics and will coach them in-between training sessions.
Value Chain Development Mongolia
APPLICATIO has - in the frame of the Chamber and Association Partnership Programme between DIHK and Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) - been contracted by SEQUA to plan and implement a training programme for experts of MNCCI on Value Chain Development. APPLICATIO will be planning and implementing a one-week workshop and additional online coaching in October 2016.
Value Chain Analysis Wool Mongolia
APPLICATIO has been contracted by SEQUA to develop a value-chain analysis for the wool-sector in Mongolia. The study aims at analysing the status quo in the wool-based value chains especially in the Arkhangai-Province (Aimag) and will serve as baseline for the partnership project between DIHK and the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI).
