APPLICATIO was commissioned by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) to support the InfoDesk Ukraine of the Agency for Economy & Development (Agentur für Wirtschaft & Entwicklung (AWE)) by researching new tenders of Internationale Financial Organisations (IFI) to be published on the InfoDesk web-portal. The support also includes contacting the IFI to obtain and publish more detailed information for potential bidders.
Since May 2022, the AWE has established the InfoDesk Ukraine on its website with an overview of organisations and programmes that are relevant for companies in the context of the war of aggression against Ukraine and the resulting economic difficulties and needs. This overview is combined with a telephone counselling service.
The InfoDesk has been expanded to include a support service on the topic of tenders. Every month, around five tenders from international development banks for the reconstruction of Ukraine are published and discussed in an online appointment, a so-called deep dive. During this one-hour appointment, companies can make direct contact with the tendering banks for specific projects. This offer was very well received in the first few months and is organised in cooperation with the AHK Ukraine.
